2019 Holiday Season Memories

This holiday season went by so fast, I really can’t believe it’s almost over. It feels like Thanksgiving was yesterday but lo and behold 2020 is just around the corner. Here are some of my favorite memories.

Kicked things off by watching the Rockettes. I started going to the show every year with my Dad not so long ago. This year my Aunt and Uncle came along.

One thing I’m really proud of this year is cooking for Thanksgiving. From turkey to apple pie, I took care of it all.

I also cooked up a storm this past month.

Fried Chicken

Baked wings

Green bean casserole

Really decked out my apartment this year.

This is the first year Andrew and I got a tree!

The cats loved it!

Also, had some great family moments.

My cousin Rosie’s baby shower.

Annual Christmas party with the girls.

Pre-Christmas meal with my family the Saturday before Christmas.Hosted my family’s annual Christmas Eve party.

NYC Holiday Windows

There is nothing like New York City during the holidays. I always visit Herald Square, Rockefeller Center and 5th Avenue at this time of year. It’s become a tradition!

Carnival games seem to be the theme for Macy’s and Bergdorf.

Here are my favs from Macy’s:

Here are my favs from Bergdorf:

Saks had an amazing Frozen display. Still haven’t seen the movie yet though!

Christmas in New York- Christmas Trees 🎄

This Christmas -and the whole December really- has been a complete blur. Happy I got a chance to walk around and enjoy the beautiful 🎄🎄 all around. Here are my favorites…

Saw this beauty at Tiffany’s.

Bryant Park’s 🎄.

The beautiful and classic Rockefeller Center 🎄.

Henri Bendel wins for most creative tree in my book 😂. The tree is made of all different kinds of gift boxes.

This is the beautiful tree at the New York Junior League.

Another classic but one of my favorites, the 🎄 at the MET Museum 😇.

Christmas in New York – Store Window Displays

I love this time of year. I especially love walking around and enjoying the decorations and windows. This year seems to be the year of the robot. They were everywhere! 🤖🤖🤖

My first stop, Macy’s.

Second, Tiffany 💍.

My first time inside Henri Bendel! That is quite an impressive tree 😂. Too bad they are closing 😞.

Lastly, my absolute favorite, Bergdorf Goodman. I particularly like the fact that they played with the idea of using sweets in their displays this year with a gingerbread man window and bakery/cafe window.

Grateful

So grateful for all the blessings I have. These few weeks showed me, more than most, how truly lucky I am. So thankful that I am surrounded by amazing family and friends. Wishing you and yours a Happy Thanksgiving.
